Kansas City left-hander Jorge De La Rosa left the Royals’ game Sunday against the Cleveland Indians in the fourth inning with a bruised left thumb. De La Rosa allowed a one-out walk to Franklin Gutierrez and assistant trainer Frank Kyte went to the mound and examined the pitcher’s left hand. De La Rosa was replaced by Jimmy Gobble after throwing 83 pitches in 3 1-3 innings.
