Tadahito Iguchi poked a two-run single into right field with two out in the 10th inning, lifting the Chicago White Sox past Kansas City 3-1 on Saturday night.
Octavio Dotel (0-1) started the 10th and gave up a pinch single to A.J. Pierzynski and hit Scott Podsednik, who reached for the fourth time in the game. With two out, Paul Konerko was walked intentionally, loading the bases.
The winner was Matt Bukvich (1-0), who threw one pitch to one batter in ninth.
