News: Emil Brown hit the first of three Royal homers in the top of the 11th inning against the Tigers on Friday in a game that Kansas City would eventually win 9-7.Impact: Brown hit a solo homer off Tigers reliever Jaime Walker to start the 11th, and was followed with another solo blast, this time from Paul Phillips. Later in the inning, Jeff Keppinger got to Walker for a two-run blast, putting the Royals up 9-5 and giving their own bullpen a cushion they’d eventually use.
