Kansas City Royals second baseman Mark Grudzielanek left Tuesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Angels in the third inning with a right groin strain. Grudzielanek hit a sharp grounder up the middle that shortstop Orlando Cabrera couldn’t handle cleanly, reaching on an infield single. As he was approaching first base, Grudzielanek suddenly pulled up and hobbled across the base.
